Gamepad Test – Buttons, Sticks and Vibration
Check whether the buttons, analog sticks and triggers on your gamepad are working properly in seconds. View button inputs instantly, track analog stick movements and easily detect possible connection or input issues.
You are in control.
Press the buttons and move the sticks. Watch your controller respond in three dimensions.
Connect your controller and press a button to begin.
Live input values
Left Analog Stick
X 0.00/Y 0.00
Right Analog Stick
X 0.00/Y 0.00
You can use the vibration test after pressing at least one button on your controller.
How to test your gamepad
1. Connect the controller
Connect it through USB, Bluetooth or a supported wireless receiver. Press any button so the browser can detect the device.
2. Check every input
Press each button and trigger, then move both analog sticks in every direction. Make sure the on-screen response matches your input.
3. Test vibration
After the page detects an input, use the vibration button. Support depends on the browser, operating system and controller model.
How to read the gamepad test results
Buttons respond correctly
If every physical press appears once as the matching on-screen input, button detection is working normally.
Stick values move by themselves
If a dot stays away from the center while the stick is untouched, the controller may have analog drift. Retest it with another connection or device.
No input appears
Check the cable, Bluetooth pairing and battery. Refresh the page, then press a controller button again.
Gamepad test frequently asked questions
Why is my gamepad not detected?
Some browsers list a controller only after a button press. Reconnect it, try another USB port and confirm that the operating system detects it.
Why does the vibration test not work?
Web vibration is not supported by every controller, browser and operating system combination. Buttons can work even when vibration commands are unavailable.
How can I spot analog stick drift?
If the on-screen dot stays outside the center or moves while the stick is untouched, the controller may have drift.
Are my controller inputs recorded?
The test displays gamepad inputs in your browser in real time; it does not turn your controller movements into a permanent recording through this page.
How do you verify a suspicious result?
After connecting the controller, click the test page and press a controller button. Some browsers do not expose a controller until the first interaction. If it is still missing, compare USB and Bluetooth and check virtual-controller software used by other apps.
Observe the return to center
Move the stick in different directions and release it; observe whether it returns to the same region each time. A small offset is not equivalent to one causing constant movement in a game. A game's dead-zone setting changes how browser-reported values translate into movement.
Button labels assume standard mapping; some models report a different order. If vibration fails, first check browser and connection support. Unsupported vibration does not establish a motor fault.
